CapClear Privacy Policy
CapClear is made by Cephas WriteSmartTech.
What we store
Your settings (Auto-Open, Auto-Solve, delays, master switch, paused sites, theme), solve counts, and your license key. All of it stays in your browser's local extension storage. If you activate a license key, the key, a random device ID, and today's solve count are sent to the WriteSmartTech licence server to check the key. Nothing else is sent.
Captcha images
CapClear analyzes reCAPTCHA images with AI models that run on your device. Images are not uploaded to any server we run.
Permissions
Host access to google.com/recaptcha and recaptcha.net/recaptcha lets CapClear read and answer challenges. The content script on all sites only checks whether a reCAPTCHA frame is visible. Storage saves your settings. Active tab lets the popup show the current site name for Pause on this site.
What we never do
We do not collect account data, browsing history, passwords, or personal information, and we do not sell or share data with anyone.
Removing data
Uninstall CapClear and all of its local data is deleted.
